Terms of Use.
These terms cover your use of this website. They are not the agreement for project work. That one lives in the written proposal we send you, and neither of us is bound to a project until it is signed.
The short version
Read the site, browse the work, get in touch. Please do not copy what is on it, do not try to break it, and do not treat anything here as a fixed quote or a guaranteed result.
The long version follows, because the short version is not the one that counts.
Who these terms are with
Restate Digital (ABN 70 121 499 647), Australia. By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What is on the site
The writing, layout, code, graphics and animations here belong to Restate Digital unless marked otherwise. You are welcome to read the site, link to it and share it.
You may not copy it, resell it, feed it to a scraper, or pass any part of it off as your own work.
The work we show
Project images in our work section are sites we built. The brands, logos, photography and copy inside them belong to those clients and appear here with their permission, as examples of what we do.
Nothing in that section transfers any right in a client's brand to you.
An enquiry is not a contract
Sending the contact form starts a conversation. It does not create an agreement, reserve a place in our schedule, or commit either side to anything.
Budget ranges shown on this site are indicative and exist to start the discussion. A project becomes real when we have both signed a written proposal setting out scope, price and timing.
What we do not promise
We work hard to keep this site accurate and online, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors, that it will always be available, or that anything you read here will produce a particular result for your business.
Search and advertising outcomes in particular depend on competitors, platforms and algorithms that nobody controls. Anything we say about them is an expectation, not a commitment.
Links to other places
Where we link out, we are not responsible for what is on the other site or what it does with your data. Their terms and their privacy policy apply once you leave here.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Restate Digital is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of your use of this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot legally be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The courts of Queensland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
